Testing is a bit tricky since there are two connector pins, and they perform different functions but the best way to test it is to measure resistance between the sensor and the ECU. It should read approximately 1000 ohms if the sensor is at full operation. If you are having problems with this sensor, look for evidence of coolant or oil in the connector bay.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, when i was accelerating to the fullest speed from highway paytoll, i experienced a big cut in power like the engine is out of gas or the injectors aren't firing at all. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, three were soaked with gasoline and the 4th was dry. When I start the engine without sparks, i place a tissue on top of each injector hole, the 3 drenched with gazoline pop out, but the 4th stay shut. I checked the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55, 30/55 and 48/55. I got 0ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is somewhere else.
I also tried to reset the PID with no success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it runs fine with the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.
I'm not certain what to do, as i think i've pretty much eliminated everything else. I'm concerned that i may have missed something. If anyone has suggestions, please share them! TIA!
